Last Tuesday, Belgian Cycling Factory welcomed a delegation from Uno-X to its headquarters in Beringen. As a valued partner and ambassador of Ridley bikes, the team plays an important role in testing and validating our products at the highest level of performance. Their visit offered a unique opportunity to connect insights from elite racing with ongoing product development.
With the Baloise Belgium Tour taking place this week, the timing of the visit provided a natural moment for exchange. While the riders are preparing for the next step in their season, including the Tour de France, their feedback and experience continue to contribute to the evolution of our bikes.

During the visit, the Uno-X riders were given an in-depth look at our production process and innovation pipeline. From concept to final assembly, every Ridley bike is developed with a strong focus on performance, quality, and real-world validation. The team also received an exclusive preview of upcoming models currently in development.
Looking back at last summer, the Baloise Belgium Tour passed right by our doors in Beringen, underlining the close connection between our factory and the professional peloton. That same connection remains central today: through partnerships like Uno-X, we continuously refine our products based on direct input from riders competing at the highest level.
Driving innovation together
A key highlight of the visit was a look inside the Aero Performance Lab, where riders got a glimpse of our wind tunnel facilities. Here, aerodynamics, positioning, and equipment come together in a controlled environment to optimise performance. CEO Jochim Aerts shared insights into how close collaboration with teams like Uno-X helps translate data and experience into tangible product improvements.
CTO Pieter Potters and Senior Product Manager Bert Kenens then introduced several future projects currently in development. These innovations reflect our ongoing ambition to push boundaries in both road and gravel segments, combining advanced engineering with rider-focused design.
The riders also toured the production floor, where they saw how Ridley bikes are assembled in-house, including painting in our own BCF facility. This vertical integration ensures full control over quality and allows us to respond quickly to feedback from the field.
“It was great to see how engaged the riders were throughout the visit,” says Sports Marketeer Stijn De Ceuster. “As a partner, Uno-X provides valuable insights that help us further develop our bikes. Their interest in upcoming models, including the next generation of the road bike, confirms that we are moving in the right direction. The same applies to our new gravel platform, which plays an important role in training and versatility.”
Beyond racing, the partnership with Uno-X highlights the importance of real-world testing. Riders use our bikes across a wide range of conditions, from high-altitude training camps to the demands of the professional calendar. This continuous feedback loop is essential in ensuring that every Ridley bike meets the expectations of both elite athletes and everyday riders.
Following the visit, the Uno-X team continued their journey to their race hotel, while we at Belgian Cycling Factory remain focused on supporting our partners and driving innovation forward.
Together, we keep building the future of cycling.
