Award-winning bikes, test bikes and a full weekend of cycling at Sea Otter Europe 2026
From September 18 to 20, Belgian Cycling Factory will be heading to Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava – Girona by Garmin, one of Europe’s biggest and most exciting cycling festivals. Taking place at the Fontajau Municipal Sports Pavilion in Girona, the event brings together cyclists, industry professionals, retailers, brands and athletes from all over the world for a weekend that combines cycling, competition, innovation and community.
Over the past few years, Sea Otter Europe has grown into a true must-attend event on the international cycling calendar. The festival combines a large exhibition area featuring leading brands from across the cycling industry with an extensive sports programme, demo circuits, activities and opportunities for visitors to experience the latest bikes for themselves. Last year’s edition attracted more than 64,000 visitors, over 6,000 participants in sporting events and more than 400 exhibiting brands. The 2026 edition will bring together 507 brands, thousands of athletes and cycling enthusiasts, and an even broader programme in Girona.
For Belgian Cycling Factory, Sea Otter Europe offers the perfect opportunity to bring three of its brands together in one location. Visitors will be able to discover Ridley Bikes, Eddy Merckx Bikes and Nukeproof at booth G24-E, with a selection of bikes from the different ranges on display throughout the weekend.
Three brands, two award-winning bikes
Together, these awards underline the performance credentials of two very different bikes, from a cutting-edge gravel racer to a modern road race machine. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover both award-winning models up close at booth G24-E, alongside the wider Ridley, Eddy Merckx and Nukeproof ranges.
Beyond the award-winning models, visitors can also get a closer look at the wider ranges from Ridley, Eddy Merckx and Nukeproof. From aerodynamic road bikes and versatile gravel bikes to high-performance mountain bikes, the exhibition is a chance to see the bikes up close, talk to the people behind the brands and discover the technology and ideas that go into their development.
Experience the bikes in Girona
One of the biggest attractions of Sea Otter Europe is that the festival is not limited to looking at bikes on a stand. Visitors can actually experience them on the road and trails around Girona thanks to the extensive DemoBike programme.
Belgian Cycling Factory will have demo bikes available during the event, giving cyclists the opportunity to get out and experience selected models for themselves. Girona and the surrounding Costa Brava region provide an exceptional setting for this: a combination of challenging climbs, fast roads, gravel tracks and technical terrain makes the area a genuine cycling paradise.

The sports programme includes the 226ERS UCI Gravel World Series, the UCI Marathon World Cup, La Tramun Sea Otter Europe and La Ciclobrava, among many other activities. The 2026 edition therefore offers an impressive mix of professional competition, amateur participation and opportunities for visitors to enjoy cycling at their own pace.
The location itself is another important part of the Sea Otter experience.
