Belgian Cycling Factory welcomed Spanish cyclocross champion Felipe Orts to the Cycling Experience Center in Beringen on Wednesday afternoon for a press event marking a new chapter in his career. The eight-time Spanish champion presented his plans for the upcoming seasons, including his continued partnership with Ridley for cyclocross.

The event brought together the rider, the brand and the media at Belgian Cycling Factory’s home base. By providing the venue and facilitating the press moment, BCF helped create an opportunity to share the news with journalists and give them a closer look at Orts’ plans for the future.

Continuing the partnership with Ridley

Orts will continue racing on the Ridley X-Night RS during the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 cyclocross seasons. After two seasons with the Ridley Racing Team, the Spanish rider is maintaining his relationship with the Belgian brand as he begins a new chapter with La Vila Joiosa – Euskadi Fundazioa. He will combine his winter cyclocross programme with road racing for Euskaltel-Euskadi.

The X-Night RS will feature a white-and-orange STRATA design, matching the colours of his new team and his Spanish champion’s jersey. Orts has already achieved several strong results on Ridley bikes, including World Cup victories in Rucphen and Woerden, silver at the 2025 European Championships and seventh place at the 2026 UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Hulst.

Connecting brands, athletes and media

Hosting the event at the Cycling Experience Center reflects the role Belgian Cycling Factory plays in supporting its brands and their partnerships. The facility in Beringen offers a setting where athletes, media and industry partners can come together to exchange stories, present new developments and strengthen relationships within cycling.

For BCF, facilitating the press event was an opportunity to support Ridley and Felipe Orts as they look ahead to the coming cyclocross seasons. With the first races approaching, the focus now shifts to the competition, where Orts will aim to build on his previous successes and continue representing Ridley on the international cyclocross stage.
