At BCF, safety is a core value that goes beyond the road. While our focus is often on delivering safe, high-performance bikes to our riders, we place just as much importance on ensuring a safe working environment for our people.
That commitment is reflected in continuous investments in training and education. This week, our teams are participating in a hands-on training session on the use of small fire extinguishing equipment. During this session, employees will learn how to react quickly and effectively in case of fire, including real-life simulations.

Learning every day
“During a highly realistic exercise, we learned how to respond in the event of an unexpected fire,” says Supply Chain Specialist Niels Henrioulle. “While this has never occurred, it is essential that we clearly understand the procedures to follow in an emergency. Even after many years of service, we continue to learn every day. I sincerely hope I will never have to apply this knowledge in practice—but if the situation ever arises, I will be prepared.”
By organizing these types of practical trainings, BCF ensures that employees are not only well-prepared in their daily roles, but also equipped to handle unexpected situations safely and responsibly.
Safety comes first—on the bike, and in the way we build them.
