Over the past few days, Ridley was present with a booth at the World Championship Expo in Marbella. On Friday, Jelle Geens stopped by to share more insights about his Triton Fast. Just two days later, he rode that same triathlon bike to his second consecutive Ironman 70.3 World Title, generating remarkable attention for both the bike and our brand.

This weekend, Marbella was the focal point of the triathlon world. The ever-growing popularity of Ironman 70.3 continues to attract both athletes and fans. That is why Belgian Cycling Factory showcased Ridley’s newest triathlon model at the expo: the Triton Fast. This bike is not only Jelle Geens’ flagship model, but he also played an active role in its development.

Naturally, the Ridley booth drew a lot of attention. Jelle took time to meet fans, pose for photos, and chat with visitors interested in the new model. The media also showed great interest in the Triton Fast, resulting in several publications highlighting our latest triathlon innovation.

Thrilling sprint finish

During the race itself, Jelle delivered a strong performance in both the swim and bike segments, leading to an exciting head-to-head battle with Kristian Blummenfelt. In a thrilling sprint finish, the Belgian came out on top. One day earlier, Rebecca Anderbury had already achieved an impressive 14th place in the women’s race.

Our teams at the expo were proud to witness these outstanding results and made sure the Triton Fast received the attention it deserved. Belgian Cycling Factory is already looking forward to the next chapters in its triathlon journey.
