This Friday, Belgian Cycling Factory welcomed a very special guest. Australian former professional rider Caleb Ewan (31) sat down with our CEO Jochim Aerts, received a tour of the renewed wind tunnel, and took a behind-the-scenes look at the production process of our latest bikes. He also picked up his brand-new Noah Fast for the rides to come. “I achieved all my major victories on a Ridley, so this brand was my first choice for my new chapter in cycling,” smiled the sprint star.

Throughout his career, Caleb Ewan claimed five stage wins at the Tour de France, all aboard a Ridley. “If I have to choose one highlight, it would be the victory on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. That remains an iconic location and this stage is regarded as the unofficial world championship for sprinters,” he recalled.
The connection between Ewan and the company has remained warm over the years. “It makes sense that in my life after professional racing I want to continue with Ridley. The bike will always play an important role for me. The competitive chapter is now behind me, but I still enjoy riding a lot. That’s why it feels natural for me to serve as an ambassador for Ridley,” he explained.
Looking ahead, Ewan will mainly be seen on his road bike, but he is also curious to explore new disciplines. “With the UCI Gravel World Championships taking place in Australia next year, it’s exciting to see how that discipline continues to grow. Cycling offers so many ways to enjoy the sport, and I’m looking forward to discovering more of that variety on a Ridley,” he added.
