Belgian Cycling Factory (BCF) strengthens its global operations with the opening of a new Asia office in Taichung, Taiwan. Following the acquisition of Nukeproof, the launch of BCF UK, and a first-ever Tour de France stage win for Uno-X on a Ridley Noah Fast, 2025 has marked a year of momentum and expansion for the company.

The new BCF Asia office will focus on sourcing, R&D support, vendor and order management, quality control and logistic coordination for all four BCF brands: Ridley, Nukeproof, Eddy Merckx, and Aeres. In addition, the team will manage our direct-shipment operations and deliver dedicated sales support to both global distributors and regional sales teams. Their key priorities will be to enhance lead times, strengthen communication, and optimize cost efficiency across the group.

ā€œOur acquisition of Nukeproof has elevated our position with both retailers and suppliers,ā€ said Jochim Aerts, CEO of Belgian Cycling Factory. ā€œThis step demands a stronger operational base in Asia. We’ve brought together a highly capable team in Taiwan to support our growth and capitalize on global opportunities.ā€

Christina Hsu, newly appointed General Manager of BCF Taiwan, added: ā€œI’m proud to lead a dedicated team in Taichung that works closely with our Belgian HQ. As a passionate cyclist myself, I’m excited to help bring world-class bikes to a wider audience—by improving efficiency, increasing value, and supporting innovation across all brands.ā€

BCF is presenting its full 2026 lineup from this week at its Dealer Days in Belgium, including the relaunch of Nukeproof Bikes & parts and accessories. With attendance already twice as high as in 2024, BCF expects future product and platform strategies to be increasingly shared with vendors and distributors from its new Asia base.
